R&D Excavating LLC started from the ground up. We officially began operations in 2018.  Owners Ryan Lykins and David Barnhart have over 30 years combined experience in the areas of demolition, asbestos abatement, recycling, excavation, and trucking.  We are responsible for all activities of the business including personnel management, estimating, bidding, maintenance, and equipment operations.  Our many operations include demolition, dismantlement, asbestos abatement, multi excavating needs, mobile crushing, and trucking.

We are based out of Crestline, Ohio and currently looking to extend our operations in other parts of central Ohio. We are a State of Ohio licensed general contractor, licensed trucking contractor, and asbestos abatement contractor.  However, that does not limit us to the State of Ohio. We are currently working on projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and other various parts of the United States.

R&D Excavating LLC has the equipment, staff, and capability to complete multi-million sq. ft. demolitions, large scale and small-scale mobile crushing, large scale excavations, and out of state trucking.  With us having expertise in these fields it provides our customers with confidence in our work. We pride ourselves in our customer service.  As owner operators it provides us an advantage over multi-billion-dollar mega corporations. We get to know everyone involved with every project on a personal level.  We go above and beyond to make sure we meet everyone’s needs involved with all projects.
